Tuition & Aid

The Church of the Resurrection School has a long history of striving to keep quality Catholic education affordable. With the generous help of our Parish family, we have worked diligently to keep tuition costs at our school as low as possible. There are a variety of ways that we work with families to make Catholic education fit into their budget.

Monthly Billing
For those families who need to spread the cost of a year’s education out over a period of months, we offer a 10 month payment plan at no extra charge. Families make monthly payments from August to May to cover the cost of their child’s education.

"Payment in Full" Discount
For families who would like to make a payment in full at the beginning of the year, we offer a 7% discount up to a maximum of $200.00. Many families who are planning for their tuition costs will set aside funds so that they can make one payment at the beginning of the year and receive this discount.

Scrip Program
This is a gift certificate program where families, friends, grandparents and others may purchase gift certificates for many different types of retail stores at face value and a portion of the sale will come back as a rebate on your tuition bill. Store certificates are available for food, restaurants, gas, mall stores, theatres and many other vendors. A complete list with the rebates, which range from 2% - 27% is available in the school office. Many of our families save hundreds of dollars each year by utilizing this program. Scholarship Assistance
For those families who have more limited resources, there are scholarships available both from the Diocese of Lansing as well as from Resurrection School. Please note that all scholarships are based on demonstrated need.

Interested families need to apply for scholarships in the early Spring, usually by March 1st, and submit an online application or send in a paper application by the deadline to FACTS. There is a fee to apply and you must send in copies of your previous year’s tax return, W-2s, and any other year end statements which document the aid you may receive from the State or Federal governments (food and rent assistance, disability, social security, etc.)

For further information on how to apply, please email Melanie Ford, Tuition Secretary, at [email protected].
