Join us for Taize Prayer on December 12 at 7pm in the church. Taize is an ecumenical worship gathering offered periodically. This candlelight service is made up of alternating song and silence, with readings from scripture. Congregants, following lead musicians, sing simple English & Latin phrases in repetition, allowing time to contemplate their meaning and let the truth of the text penetrate the whole being, allow the mind to be free to focus on prayer, and listen to God. This is a screen-free, noise-free, frenzy-free opportunity to meditate on the coming of Christ. Come and sing with us or just sit and contemplate the Light that shines in the darkness.
