Support our School

There are many ways to support our school. An extensive network of volunteers work through our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) to do fundraising, and help with school activities and events. We have an annual school auction, periodic bake sales and a spring carnival. In addition, the Church of the Resurrection, as a parish, provides substantial financial assistance to the school. Online Giving

We are exceedingly grateful to the Church of the Resurrection and our generous parishioners for supporting our school. School tuition paid by families does not cover the entire operating costs of the school, so we rely on the support of the Church of the Resurrection to allow us to provide a Catholic education to all of our families. If you wish to make a online donation to the school, we are very grateful. Please visit the Church of the Resurrection online giving portal to make a contribution to the school fund: https://giving.parishsoft.com/app/giving/corlansing.

Resurrection PTO

Our PTO is an active part of our school community. The purpose of this organization is to discuss the needs of the students and teachers, and then creatively organize fundraising events, parent volunteers, teacher appreciation events, and a variety of school activities. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the PTO at [email protected].

School Auction

The school auction is held every fall and is the biggest fundraiser for the school. We typically host a wonderful evening of fellowship, food and drinks, and a live and silent auction. We recently held a super raffle in conjunction with the live auction and raised over $35,000 for the school! If you are interested in helping with this event, we need parent volunteers every year to help coordinate donations and setup for the event. Please contact the PTO at [email protected] if you are interested in helping.

Scrip Program

Scrip is a gift certificate program where families, friends, grandparents and others may purchase gift certificates for many different types of retail stores at face value and a portion of the sale will offset the cost of tuition at Resurrection School. Learn more about the Scrip Program here or contact us at [email protected].

Shamrock Club (Athletic Booster Club)

The Shamrock Club is the official booster club of Resurrection School athletics. All sports at Resurrection and all sports-related costs are paid for entirely by the Shamrock Club. Not a single ball, uniform, referee fee, league fee, or piece of tape is paid for by the school. The Shamrock Club is proud to support the school by covering the cost of athletics for all students. The Shamrock Club's big fundraiser is the popular Bean Bag Toss Tournament, held typically in March each year. The event is popular among parents, parishioners, students, our high school alums and their friends! The tournament has separate adult and kids divisions, and the evening is complete with great food and drinks. If you have questions or wish to volunteer, please contact Andy Christopherson, our Athletic Director, at [email protected].

Virtus Certification

*Required for All Adult Volunteers Working with Students*
All adult volunteers at Resurrection School must take part in the Diocese of Lansing Virtus program's "Protecting God's Children for Adults" online training before they may begin volunteering with our students. If you wish to drive on field trips, help in the classroom, work recess duty, or anything with our students, you will need to complete this required training. Please visit virtusonline.org to register. Once you complete your training, please submit your certificate to the front office. Please contact the front office if you have any questions.
