Dear Prospective Families,
My name is Jacob Allstott, and I am proud to be the principal at Resurrection School. We are a family-oriented Catholic school in Lansing, where students are encouraged to reach their God-given potential through a traditional Catholic Liberal Arts curriculum combined with a focus on Catholic teachings and the love of Jesus Christ in all areas of their lives. We focus on the basics, we wrestle with the truth, and we appreciate the goodness and beauty found in all of God’s creation.
If you are looking for a place where you can be intimately involved in your child’s education and where your child will experience Christ’s love on a daily basis while being encouraged to succeed, look to Resurrection School.
Resurrection School is a school with a rich history. Monsignor Gabriel founded our school in 1926, to partner with parents in the academic and spiritual development of their children. There is a longstanding tradition established by 4th and 5th generation parishioners and graduates which is the welcoming, family-centered atmosphere that surrounds this parish and school. It is greatly attributed to the service of this faith community and surrounding neighborhoods.
My staff and I are committed to continuing the great legacy of Resurrection School by providing an authentic Catholic education. Our Catholic Liberal Arts approach provides our students with a rich academic foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, the sciences, history, and religion, and we incorporate a full range of electives in art, band, computers, music, physical education, and latin. Our weekly schedule offers students three Masses each week, students attend retreats, and they spend time in Eucharistic Adoration on a regular basis.
We want to take this opportunity to welcome families to reach out to our school office to schedule an appointment where we can share more information and a tour of the school with our Assistant Principal, Chris Gates. Should you have any questions, or would like to schedule an appointment please feel free to call the school office (517) 487-0439 or email [email protected].
