The women of the parish are invited to a Women's Lenten Morning of Reflection on Saturday, April 29, from 9:00am to noon in Mercy Hall. Snacks and coffee will be provided. The morning will be led by Sr. Dorcee Clarey of the Servants of God's Love. Please register online using the link or by calling the parish office.

Sr. Dorcee grew up on a small farm in mid-Michigan, one of eight children. After attending the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University, Sr. Dorcee received her B.A. in Education, majoring in English and minoring in Psychology. She was active as a leader in campus ministry at both universities, both during and after college. In 1975, Sr. Dorcee was one of the founding Sisters of a new religious order, The Servants of God’s Love, in the diocese of Lansing. She served as its Superior for many years, and along the way also taught middle school. She started Witnesses to Hope, a bi-monthly meeting for women, gathered to hear a hope-based talk. She is currently leading a mission house of her order in Flint, MI, where she and her Sisters seek to both be a prayerful presence in the city and to love and serve especially those in need. She also loves being a spiritual director and coaching folks in Clifton Strengths and MCODE.
