THE TRADITION OF THE CHURCH
The aim of the course is to understand the notion of Tradition in general and the unique place of Scripture in the life of the Church. We will also take a glance at four great figures who embody that Tradition in their works: St. Athanasius; St. Basil; St. Augustine; St. Thomas Aquinas.
Speaker: Dr. John Yocum
Dr. John Yocum has a Doctorate in Theology from The University of Oxford. He has taught Theology at Oxford, at Loyola School of Theology in Manila and currently teaches at the Sacred Heart Catholic Seminary in Detroit, Michigan.
