Our desire for God is good, holy and God-given.
We desire to know the love of the Father. We were made to know his love. The Life in the Spirit Seminar which is currently going on in the parish, with 200 participants, brings to us knowledge that God loves us, but also lets us feel that love. It opens us to the power of the Holy Spirit, the spirit of love.
We are asked to take up our inheritance as sons and daughters of the Lord. What is it God says to us in the middle of the mystery of our suffering and pain? He reassures us that he is with us in our suffering.
