8th graders for the 2023-2024 school year are eligible for Confirmation.
We would ask that all families register for preparationfor confirmation by filling out the Sacramental Preparation Enrollment form and submitting it to the parish office. Please also submit retreat permission formand themedical release form.
Classes will be held weekly in the 8th grade school classroom, on Fridays. The curriculum we use is Chosen: Your Journey to Confirmation by Ascension Press. Students who do not attend Resurrection School are being asked to use the online preparation program found HERE. The cost for the online program is $18.95. The discussions and formation days (see below) will assume that all students have worked through the material for several lessons prior to the date of meeting.
Homeschooled students are asked to join the school once a month during the preparation period for communal prayer, meal, and formation. These joint sessions will be Oct 6, Nov 3, Dec 1, Jan 12, Feb 9, March 1, April 12, and May 3 from 10:45am-12:30pm.
The retreat will be on Friday, October 27th from 8:15am-2:30pm. The retreat will be held at St. Therese and facilitated by NET Ministries. Cost for the retreat is $50 per student, and payment can be made online HERE.
