Read high-quality literature & grow in friendship...

New Well-Read Mom Group!

Resurrection moms are invited to come and learn about a new Well-Read Mom small group forming in this area. Our introductory meeting will take place at 7 PM on Tuesday, September 15 in the Fireplace Room at Saint Thomas Aquinas parish. Subsequent meetings will take place on third Tuesdays of each month.

Ana Braga-Henebry is a Resurrection parishioner, and is a contributor and leader of Well-Read Mom book clubs for several years. Ana is also the current Resurrection School Latin teacher.

Well-Read Mom (WRM) is a way for women to reclaim time to read the best. The goal is to provide a way for women to read high-quality literature together and grow in friendship in the process.

WRM groups read one book per month and meet to discuss once a month. Our year together includes great books, spiritual classics (during Advent and Lent), worthy reads, poetry and selected essays from the Catholic and Western Traditions. Book selections for each year correspond to the themes of a woman’s life such as daughter, mother, spouse, friend, worker, pilgrim, and contemplative.
